Absolutely in love. I love the color, I love the mid-century lines, I love the original copper hardware.... I. Love. It. All. I have been wracking my brain, trying to come up with a place to put it in my own house. Lucky for you guys, I haven't been able to come up with a room that it will fit in. :-)
Aren't the mid-century pencil legs great?!?
The copper hardware is really special as well. It's the reason I chose this color - I knew the copper and blue would really pop against each other.
I know that the blue color isn't the same in all of the photographs - I tried and tried to get photos that truly represent the gorgeous blue that this desk is painted - but the lighting/my camera didn't always cooperate. Sorry about that.
So - if you're wondering - THIS is the truest representation of the color - very deep, very saturated, very gorgeous. :-)
This mid-century modern desk is made of solid wood and all seven drawers work perfectly. I think this desk would be so great in a boy's bedroom, but it's certainly large enough (and chic enough) to be used as a writing desk (or computer desk) in any office or living space. Definitely a statement piece! I've painted it in Napoleonic Blue with clear wax for protection. It measures 43'' long x 29 1/2'' tall x 17 1/2'' deep and is priced at $240 (SOLD).
