Antique chest in pale yellow (SOLD)

Springtime.  I love it.  After months of gray and cold (or, if you're here in Atlanta, gray mixed with not-as-gray and cool mixed with somewhat-warm) .... I'm always so happy when spring arrives.  I'm ready for warmth and sunshine and COLOR!  :-)  And there's not a color out there that says spring to me more than yellow.  Especially a soft, buttery yellow like this one.

Yellow is such a happy color, don't you think?  :-)

I love this sweet dresser/chest - I love the size, and how it would work well in so many places.  It would be great as a dresser/changing table in a nursery.  It would be gorgeous with a tv on top in a family room.   And it would be lovely in a kitchen, or dining room, or foyer, or bedroom.  Or sun porch!

Isn't the vintage hardware great?

And the detailing at the bottom....

Can you tell I really like this one?  :-)  I've been trying to figure out where I could use it in my own house.  Alas... my husband has made me promise I'll stop trying to keep each piece I paint.  :) Ah well.  You can't blame a girl for trying.

I've painted this piece in a custom mix of Arles and Old White chalk paint, and the result is a lovely buttery yellow.  Seriously folks - it's an awesome color.  It's even better in person, I think.  Measurements are 42'' long x 35 1/2'' tall x 20'' deep and it's priced at $325 (SOLD).

French dresser in Old White (SOLD)

It's a classic.  :-)

French provincial furniture.  Isn't it great?  So graceful, so timeless.  This is one sweet dresser.  :-)

I really love to distress french provincial pieces.  There are so many awesome curves and bends and details to work with. Aren't the curves along the front gorgeous?

Great hardware...

Gorgeous legs...

And awesome details along the bottom.

One more look at those curves.  :-)

Okay.  Maybe two.

This is a solid wood dresser, made by Drew Furniture.  All six dovetailed drawers work perfectly and have so much character. I've painted this french provincial dresser in Old White and given it a distressed finish and clear wax to protect.  A piece like this is always lovely in a nursery (and could easily double as a changing table), but would be equally beautiful in a guest room, or a child's room, or a master.  It could even be used in a living space to hold a television and provide storage.  Measurements are 53'' long x 32 1'2'' tall x 20'' deep (at the deepest part of the curve), and it's priced at $450 (SOLD).

Vintage turquoise chest (SOLD)

Love this color.  And love this chest.  :-)

Retro all the way, folks.  All the way.  From the sleek mid-century lines to the awesome feet to the vintage hardware.  Retro.

The four dovetailed drawers on this guy are exceptionally deep - and very slightly graduated.  All of them work perfectly.  I've painted this chest in Provence, which is a gorgeous mellow turquoise, and given it a distressed finish with clear wax for protection.  I think it would be fabulous in a boy's bedroom, in a foyer, or in a guest room.  Measurements are 32'' long x 45'' tall x 19'' deep and it's priced at $230 (SOLD).

Antique side table in Old Violet (SOLD)

I'm sort of in love with this table.

And this color. Old Violet.  Who knew?!

It's such an awesome shade of blue/grey.  I'm SO glad I took a chance on it.  :-)

This sweet antique table is so versatile.  I love that it can be used as a rectangular table.... or if you need a larger top surface, you can pull up the sides and you've got a lovely oval tabletop.  So neat.

This table is a bit taller than your average side table - which makes it a perfect solution next to a taller sofa or chair. Or bed!

Both of the drawers on this piece are dovetailed and work beautifully, and there's an open shelf on the bottom for storage as well.  I've painted in in Old Violet with distressing and both clear and dark wax to finish and provide an aged look.  It measures 26 1/2'' tall x 22'' deep, and is 17'' wide with the sides down, 30'' wide with the sides up..... and is priced at $140 (SOLD).

If you're interested in purchasing this table, please send me an email by clicking on the "Contact Me" tab above - thank you!

Side table in Duck Egg Blue (SOLD)

I've got another antique side table ready to go!  This solid wood table has open storage on the bottom, and a dovetailed drawer above - perfect for remote controls, a book or two, or anything else you want to store.

Sweet vintage pull as well!

I've painted this table in Duck Egg Blue, with distressing and clear wax to finish.  Really a lovely and classic table!  It measures 14'' wide x 24 1/2'' tall x 16'' deep and is priced at $65 (SOLD).
