Mid-Century Desk in Blue (SOLD)

I am in LOVE with this desk, folks.  :-)

Absolutely in love.  I love the color, I love the mid-century lines, I love the original copper hardware.... I. Love. It. All.  I have been wracking my brain, trying to come up with a place to put it in my own house.  Lucky for you guys, I haven't been able to come up with a room that it will fit in.  :-)

Aren't the mid-century pencil legs great?!?

The copper hardware is really special as well.  It's the reason I chose this color - I knew the copper and blue would really pop against each other.

I know that the blue color isn't the same in all of the photographs - I tried and tried to get photos that truly represent the gorgeous blue that this desk is painted - but the lighting/my camera didn't always cooperate.  Sorry about that.

So - if you're wondering - THIS is the truest representation of the color - very deep, very saturated, very gorgeous.  :-)

This mid-century modern desk is made of solid wood and all seven drawers work perfectly. I think this desk would be so great in a boy's bedroom, but it's certainly large enough (and chic enough) to be used as a writing desk (or computer desk) in any office or living space.  Definitely a statement piece!  I've painted it in Napoleonic Blue with clear wax for protection.  It measures 43'' long x 29 1/2'' tall x 17 1/2'' deep and is priced at $240 (SOLD).

Antique Turquoise Chest (SOLD)

Another beauty in Florence!  One of my most requested colors.  :-)

I love the simplicity of this piece.  The lines of it, the pine knobs, the sweet detailing along the bottom.

This vintage chest is made of solid pine, is in excellent condition, and has four dovetailed drawers that all work well.  I really love how the light wood color contrasts with the bold paint color in the distressed areas.

I've painted it in Florence, with a distressed finish and both clear and dark wax.  Dark wax changes and deepens this particular chalk paint color in awesome ways.  I firmly believe Florence was MADE to be used with dark wax.  :-)  It measures 40'' long x 34'' tall x 19 1/2'' deep (SOLD).

Antique Dresser in Old White (SOLD)

Such a sweet piece.

This dresser has AWESOME detailing, gorgeous curves, and lovely french pulls.  It's basically everything that's good about antique furniture, all rolled into one dresser.  :-)

The detailing alone is enough to make a girl swoon.

I love the graceful curve to the feet.

And let's not forget about the hardware, which is classic french.

When you put all of those things together - great detailing, gorgeous curves, lovely french hardware.... you end up with one awesome dresser.

This antique piece is made of solid wood, including the back.  All three drawers are dovetailed and work beautifully.  I've painted it in Old White with a distressed finish and clear wax for protection.  It measures 48'' long x 35 1/2'' tall x 21 1/2'' deep, and is priced at $460 (SOLD).  I think this dresser would be PERFECT in a nursery, and could easily double as a changing table.  It would also be lovely in a master bedroom, in a foyer, as a stylish entertainment center in a family room, or even as a buffet in a dining room.  Lots of options - but I can guarantee that it'll steal the show wherever you put it. :-)

Vintage Buffet in Cream (SOLD)

Another vintage beauty.  :-)

It's been a while since I had a buffet available for you fine folks - so I'm really happy to have found this one!

I love the clean mid-century lines of this piece.  Aren't the legs great?

This buffet is a vintage Century Furniture piece - awesome quality, solid wood, and in excellent condition.  There are three dovetailed drawers across the top, two deep drawers in the center, and shelf storage behind the two doors.  All of the hardware is original to the piece, not to mention gorgeous.  :-) It's got a great bronzed finish.

I've painted this piece in a deep shade of cream, and given it a distressed finish.  Clear wax adds protection and a tiny bit of sheen.

This buffet measures 62 1/2'' long x 32'' tall x 20'' deep, and is priced at $475 (SOLD).
