Grey side tables (SOLD)

Love this vintage set of wood side tables!  They have great classic lines, and so much storage space.  There's nothing like a table with good storage.  :-)

These would be so great in a bedroom as nightstands, or in a family room as end tables.

All three drawers work perfectly - both side tables have a smaller top drawer and two deep drawers beneath.

I love the oil-rubbed bronze pulls - also love the curves along the bottom.

I've painted these side tables in a lovely soft grey, with a distressed finish and clear wax for protection.  They measure 27 1/2'' tall x 20 1/2'' wide x 14 1/2'' deep and are priced at $200 for the set (SOLD).

If you're interested in purchasing these side tables, please send me an email at shabbychic011@gmail.com  - thank you!

Isn't the detailing AWESOME?

This piece is made of mahogany, and is all hardwood - even the insides of the drawers and the back of the piece.  It is INCREDIBLY sturdy and in great shape.  I just love the curved front on this one.

I also love the lines along the bottom.  And the vintage hardware is pretty special too.  :-)

I've painted this piece in a deep cream color, and given it a distressed finish and clear wax for protection.  All six drawers are dovetailed, work perfectly, and provide a ton of storage. Measurements are 35'' long x 55'' tall x 19'' deep and it's priced at $460 (SOLD).

Antique Dresser in Old White (SOLD)

Hi folks!  I've got a great antique dresser ready to find a home.  Let's call it my "welcome to Fall" piece.  :-)  My favorite season!  And this dresser is in my favorite style - simple and gorgeous.

I'm drawn to pieces that are up on legs - it gives them a lot of character.  The legs on this sweet piece don't disappoint.  I also love the detailing on the top drawer fronts.

Also love the antiqued glass knobs.  They really seem to fit this piece, don't you think?

I've painted this one in Old White with a distressed finish and clear wax for protection.  I see it as a gorgeous addition to a nursery (and the perfect height for a changing table).... or as a focal point in a little girl's room.  It could also be lovely in a foyer or holding a flat screen in a family room.

All of the drawers are dovetailed and work perfectly.  This piece measures 46'' long x 36 1/2'' tall x 22'' deep and is priced at $380(SOLD).

Ethan Allen dresser in Old White (SOLD)

I really like this one, you guys.  :-)

I saw this piece at a local shop recently and thought it would be a real beauty in Old White... and I think I was right!

I was even more excited about this piece when I opened the top drawer and saw the "Kling" markings and the Ethan Allen paperwork.  You really can't beat the craftsmanship of an Ethan Allen piece - it's so well made, and will definitely stand the test of time.

This five drawer dresser has ample storage space, and all drawers are dovetailed.  They slide in and out with ease.

Aren't the original wooden knobs cool?  I've painted and distressed them to match.

I also love the detailing along the bottom and the shape of the feet.  Lots of character.

This is the kind of piece that would work so well in a nursery as a changing table - and with it being slightly taller than your average dresser, it would work for even you tall mamas out there.  :-)  It would also be gorgeous as an entryway piece, in any bedroom.... or even in a living room to hold a flatscreen tv.  I've painted it in Old White, with a distressed finish and clear wax for protection. This vintage piece measures 40'' long x 35 1/2'' tall x 19'' deep and is priced at $395 (SOLD).

Old Violet Chest (SOLD)

Hi folks!

It's rare that I come across two identical chests, several months apart.... but I lucked out a couple of weeks ago and found an awesome bow-front mahogany chest that is an exact copy of the one I painted in Old Violet this past February.  I've had so many folks reach out and ask for a piece just like that one in Old Violet.... so this one is for you guys!  :-)

This lovely vintage blue color, with just a hint of purple is SO awesome.  It really is one of my all-time favorite colors.  When you add dark wax, it becomes a gorgeous gray/blue.  It has such depth and I find it to be one of the most interesting of the Annie Sloan chalk paint colors.  It's definitely not what you expect from the name Old Violet.

The classic lines of an antique bow front chest are perfect for a color like this one.  I love the detailing on this piece - also love the original pulls.

All of the dovetailed drawers work perfectly, and are quite deep to provide lots of storage space.  One of the drawers has an interior divider.  I've given it two coats of the Old Violet paint, distressed it, and coated it with both clear and dark wax.  It measures 47'' tall x 37'' long x 19 1/2'' deep and is priced at $460 (SOLD).

If you're interested in purchasing this chest, please send me an email by clicking on the "Contact Me" tab above - thanks!
