Turquoise Side Tables (SOLD)

I love that turquoise is so in right now....  it's just such a fun color.  These two adorable side tables were a part of our estate sale find a couple of weeks ago - and I knew they needed to be a bold color.  They're small, but they make a statement!

Here they were before - cute but outdated:

And here they are now...

They're made of solid cherry and are in excellent condition.  Each table has three drawers, perfect for holding all of those little things you can't ever find (remote control, earrings, your favorite book). I love how they're up on legs and have such style.... classy little tables for sure.

I've painted them Florence (still in love with it!) and given them a distressed finish, with both clear and dark wax for protection. They would be lovely as bedside tables in a smaller space, or as occasional tables in any room. These beauties measure 21'' tall x 18'' long x 10'' deep, and the pair is priced at $140 (SOLD).

Pine chest (SOLD)

The newest chalk paint color, folks.  I think I'm in love.

Isn't it just awesome? I'm partial to blues and greens, so this color is right up my alley. I love that it has such depth - and it changes pretty dramatically with the addition of dark wax. This particular chest is perfect for a bold color and I'm thrilled with the way it turned out.  It's a three drawer solid pine piece, painted and distressed with both clear and dark wax for protection. I found the vintage cast iron pulls and knew they would be gorgeous against the blue/green paint. Everything about this piece makes me happy. :-)  It would be perfect in an entryway, in a bedroom, as a changing table with character in a nursery, in a living space (great as a tv stand!!), .... so many options here. It measures 30 1/2'' tall x 40'' long x 19'' deep, and is priced at $250 (SOLD).

If you're interested in purchasing this chest, please email me by clicking on the "Contact Me" tab above - thanks!

Antique French Buffet (SOLD)

This is yet another piece that I'm having a hard time not finding a spot for in my own home. :-)  My husband keeps reminding me that we really don't NEED two buffets.  You can't blame a girl for trying, though!
This piece came from an estate sale and is just lovely. It's an antique solid cherry buffet made in the french provincial style, with three drawers on each side and double doors in the center. The drawers to this piece are all dovetailed and pull in and out smoothly.

The center doors open to three additional pull out drawers - so there is ample storage space in this piece!

I absolutely love the drop pulls on the doors, as well as the vintage french pulls on the drawers.

I'm also a big fan of the lovely curved front...

I've painted this piece Old Ochre, which is a lovely deep shade of cream, and given it a distressed finish with clear wax for durability. I think this piece would be perfect as a buffet, but it could certainly be used as a dresser as well. Measurements are 72'' long x 31 1/2'' tall x 19'' deep, and this beauty is priced at $425 (SOLD).

Antique Chest (SOLD)

I have another piece ready to find a new home! I was thrilled to get this one - the hardware alone was worth the buy, in my opinion. :-)  It's a great old antique chest, made by Drexel Furniture. All four drawers are solid and dovetailed, and they get progressively deeper from top to bottom. This beauty has a ton of detail work - dental molding all around the top, lovely scrolled carvings all along the bottom. And the hardware.... oh, the hardware!! :-)  I am in love with the vintage hardware on this piece.

Isn't that hardware just awesome?

I've painted this antique chest Duck Egg Blue, and given it a distressed finish. It's also been coated with clear wax for durability. Measurements are 44'' long x 36'' tall x 21'' deep, and it's priced at $290 (SOLD).
