New pieces available (ALL NOW SOLD)

I have several pieces finished and ready to share! Be sure to look through the whole post so you don't miss anything. :-)

First off - an adorable foyer table (SOLD).  I found this one at a moving sale and loved it. Don't you think half round tables are so useful? I've painted it a lovely deep cream chalk paint (Old Ochre by Annie Sloan), distressed it, and given it a coat of clear wax for a durable finish. I think it would be awesome in a foyer or dining room or living room.... endless possibilities with this guy. :-)  Priced at $75.

Next up - a lovely antique mirror (SOLD).  This one is old old OLD, and absolutely gorgeous. The back is solid wood and so cool, and the mirror itself is original and beveled. I've painted it the same deep cream and distressed and waxed it - the detail at the top is so beautiful now that it's distressed.  Would be lovely over a dresser or chest, or over a buffet, or hanging all by itself. Priced at $90.

Next on the list - a pair of matching twin beds (SOLD).  These beds came from a cute little thrift store in the mountains of North Carolina ... I always love to find matching beds! This pair is solid wood and I've painted them a creamy white chalk paint (Old White) and given them a beautiful shabby chic finish with distressing and clear wax.  I think these beds would be perfect in a guest room, or a little girls bedroom.... or in any bedroom, really! Priced at $190 for the set, and I have one pair of bed rails that I would be happy to throw in as well.
And now for the coffee table (SOLD).  This one was a Goodwill find that I immediately knew I had to have - anything with french provincial lines lends itself beautifully to the shabby chic style. So sophisticated and charming.
I've painted it Old Ochre and distressed it to show the gorgeous details on the legs and sides. It's topped with a coat of clear wax, so it'll stand up to the normal coffee table wear and tear.  Go ahead and put your feet on it. :-)  Priced at $90.
Side table (SOLD) - This little gem was another Goodwill find. It was so sturdy and such a neat size that I couldn't leave it behind. :-)  I've painted it a gorgeous vintage blue (Duck Egg Blue) and distressed it lightly and coated it with clear wax. Perfect for a lamp next to a reading chair, or as a plant stand, or as an end table or night stand in a small space. Measures 24'' tall and top is 11'' square. Priced at only $15. A steal!  :-)
And now.... one of my favorite pieces ever (SOLD). Seriously - this one is spectacular, if I do say so myself! :-) One of the neighborhoods down the road from us had their annual garage sale last weekend, and I saw this piece from the road as I was scouting out all of the sales.
I parked and walked up to the house for a closer look, and saw that it was a sweet elderly couple hosting the sale. As soon as the wife saw me checking out the chest, she came over to give me its history. She was the original owner and bought it in 1949. LOVE that. Also love that it has all of its original hardware, which is hard to find on a piece this old. It's made of solid mahogany and is SUPER heavy. All four drawers are in great shape and have dovetailed joints. Lots of storage space. I've painted it a gorgeous vintage green (Antibes Green chalk paint) and distressed it. I've also given it coats of both clear and dark wax for a lovely (and durable!) aged finish. I am so in love with this piece of furniture - what an awesome conversation piece! Definitely would be the focal point in any living room... or foyer.... or dining room.... or bedroom.  This guy would be awesome ANYWHERE in your house. :-) Priced at $250.
